Kevin Bouley
President and Chief Executive Officer

A recognized leader in the information industry and Connecticut native, Bouley became President of Nerac in January 1999, acquiring the company through a management buyout arrangement. Bouley earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut in 1980 and began working at Nerac a year after graduation. After several promotions at Nerac in sales and accounting, Bouley was named Vice President in 1987 and held that position until acquiring the company.

Betsy Petrie
Chief Operating Officer
With Nerac Since: 1993

After receiving her BA from Elm’s College in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Betsy entered the real estate business and became a manager of a large eastern Connecticut real estate firm before joining Nerac.

Betsy joined Nerac in 1993 as operations manager. Responsibilities increased for Betsy as Nerac personnel expanded and the need for an appointed manager of daily internal operations became more apparent.

Gerri Potash
Vice President, Research & Advisory Services
With Nerac Since: 1997

Gerri holds a BS in Biological Sciences from the School of Education at the University of Connecticut. Among other positions, Gerri was previously a biologist at U.S. Surgical Corporation in Connecticut, Manager of Research and Development at MicroTest Laboratories in Massachusetts and a high school Biology teacher.

John Ruest
Chief Financial Officer
With Nerac Since: 1992

John holds an MBA from Western New England College. Previously employed by United Technologies, John held a number of positions within his 13 years at UTC. Before leaving UTC for Nerac, John’s last position was Manager of Corporate Consolidations.

Kevin Blackwell
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
With Nerac Since: 2006

Prior to joining Nerac, Blackwell was Vice President of the Americas operations of security software producer PortWise. Prior to PortWise, he pioneered knowledge management and analytical techniques for marketing research while serving as President and General Manager of Kenosia Corporation. Other career assignments span instrumentation, automotive and system software technologies.
