Nerac Analysts do not use ChatGPT, CoPilot, or any other generally available Generative AI (GenAI) for any focused research topic provided by a Nerac client.
As needed, Nerac may use the specialized GenAI features within the patent & non-patent search platforms (behind-the-firewall) to obtain additional keywords and/or quick summaries for manual review by the Nerac Analysts.
It is the Analyst who determines what documents are relevant to the client’s needs, and what are not.
AI is not used in reviewing full-text articles, such as for clinical literature evaluations, as there is a risk of missing relevant information.
AI is NOT used to write reports for a client.
AI is sometimes used to proofread for typos, grammar, and spelling.
Every original piece of research is subject to our quality review by at least one other Nerac Analyst.
Nerac ensures compliance with all contractual obligations and regulatory standards associated with AI.
