Mary Becher earned her bachelor’s of science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla. She has experience as a Customer Quality Representative at the Aluminum Company of America, ALCOA, where she provided technical customer support for the aluminum can-making industry by performing metallurgical tests of the raw material and can stock for the food and beverage industry to identify solutions of metal imperfections. Designing heat treat trials to eliminate aluminum pitting and improve material characteristics was an area of concentration during her time at ALCOA.
