“Roast Me” is a card game where friends’ limits are put to the test. The concept of being roasted is simple; it’s an opportunity for a group of friends or soon to be friends to get to know each other in a comical and intimate setting. The gameplay is centered around two main decks of cards, titled “question” and “mystery.” Question cards include a variety of different specific character traits sure to elicit laughs and blushed faces all around. Mystery cards could entail an even broader spectrum of content, from trivia, to spelling and dare cards.

The idea behind the game is to challenge players to call out their friends for who they really are, good or bad. Have a friend that’s the life of the party? How about one who would spend an hour in front of the mirror? Is someone in the group a hopeless romantic? No matter who your friends are, Roast Me is the game where you can find out how your friends really feel about you. Not to worry; we all have something to get roasted for in the end.

XcellR8@UConn offers a forum encouraging group discussion about the ways in which these teams might go about gathering additional data to validate their assumptions and next steps on the path to move forward.

“The XcellR8@UConn group continues to provide immense value as they advise and mentor student entrepreneurs in all kinds of business and product development endeavors,” said Kevin Bouley, CEO of Nerac. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see our members continue to succeed, and I look forward to having the group brainstorm ideas with the Roast Me team.” Contact XcellR8 to learn more today.
